“Swachhata Hi Seva” campaign at ARMY PUBLIC
SCHOOL, NEHRU ROAD , lucknow
Environmental protection has
attained highest importance in the current time globally but we neglect the practices
of proper waste disposal. We are aware of the impact of improper waste disposal
practices, but the negative attitude of implementation gives rise to many
environmental problems.

cadets of 20 UP Girls BN. of Army Public School, Nehru Road had celebrated Gandhi Jayanti by
participating in the movement ‘SWACHCHTA
HI SEVA’ . In the campaign cadet participated in many activities like cleaning
the NCC room, area surrounded by it , wall painting on clean and green India
not only this Cadets have learned about
the waste management, segregation of waste, symbolism of coloured bins kept by
cantonment board all around the cantt. and the need of proper disposal of waste
through the PowerPoint Presentation in the school auditorium.
To
mark the 150 birth anniversary of Gandhi
Jayanti celebration, the cadets were taken to the playground area where senior
cadets have demonstrated the proper waste disposal and segregation of waste.
Total of 34 cadets had participated in the event under the guidance of 2nd Officer Rekha Shukla, all the cadets took part in the activity with full zeal and zest.
